UGADI-
Pachadi from jaggery and neem leaves.,Dalithoya (dal),rice,
Tendli-bibbe upkari(tender cashew and tendli ),Chana (black chick-peas)kadgi(tender jackfruit) Ghashi, Phodi (deep fried vegetables),Khotto(Idies steamed in Jack fruit leaves ‘ cups),Madgane(Payasam of chana dal),Raswade .

NAGARA PANCHAMI—
Do not fry foods on this day .
Steamed Patrodo- Ghashi,Sugarless Kheer,Patholi,Khotto,rice

UPAKARMA- (Sutta –Punnav)
Any ghashi,Patrodo,Sukke,Phodi,Dal,rice,Rice noodles with sweetened coconut milk,Payasam.

KRISHNAASHTAMI-
Gajbaje,Aalwati,podi,Dal,Rice,khotto,Ginger chutney, Sweetened coconut milk with beaten rice,til ka laddu,pancha kajjayas
Next day-Sprouted moong ghashi,Ekpaani (brahmi ) chutney

GOWRI THRITHIYA-
All saltless
Bhajji upkari,chappe kheeri,patholi,nivri

GANESH CHATHURTHI-
Any ghashi,upkari,valval,patrodo,khotto,modaka,pohan kheeri, chakkuli,chips,laddu, pancha kajjaya,appo,rice,dal.saaru etc

DUSSERA-
On Nhave jauche-
Rice,any ghashi,upkari from cassava stem,rice kheeri,bitter gourd –other vegetable ghashi,cucumber sasam,dal

DEEPAVALI-
Ghashi,phodi,upkari,rice,dal,khotto,madgane,sweet poha,sweets and namkeens

UTTHANA DWADASHI-
Sprouted moong ghashi,Brahmi chutney,Surnali

SUBRAHMANYA SHASHTHI
Any curry from white pumpkin, Kichdi –udad dosa
